Pamela Colman Smith is the criminally underrepresented artist of the most recognizable and famous tarot deck of all time. In fact - her name is not even mentioned in the modern shorthand for the deck itself, the “Rider-Waite.”

It’s my goal to mix together both a historical and an interpersonal vision of her work to create my own reimagining of the deck. I’m beginning with the major arcana, going through each symbol, color and analogy until I feel comfortable moving forward with the final illustrated version of the card.
